RV style Air Conditioner

I like simplicity.  The generator is a simple portable low power option.  It only weighs about 50 pounds and is easily stored in the aft lazarette.  It produces 2000watts peak, and 1600 continuous.  It's not much, but it will run one big appliance at a time, like a single AC, or water heater, or a small space heater.

It's easy to maintain, and I simply plug it into my shore power when I need it which is only when at anchor.

This generator is basically still new and runs great.  Very easy to start.

This small solar panel is only 50 watts.

In the summer, it can easily maintain the batteries when you're at anchor and just using the lights during the night.  All lighting inside the boat is LED and most of the lighting outside is LED, so you don't need much solar to keep up with that.

It can handle the occasional fresh water pump usage as well.

The front Bow area:

When I got this boat, there were pieces of duck tape covering spots in the front deck of the boat.  I peeled back the duck tape and found that there were a bunch of little holes drilled in the deck and filled with solid epoxy.  I finished the fillings by adding a white west system epoxy filler to the tops of these holes to seal them off.  I do not know why they are there.  Maybe there used to be a soft spot at this location??  I do not know.  But I do know that the deck at this location feels VERY solid and I do know the holes are very well sealed.  There definitely will not be any water getting inside them.

There is a soft spot on the deck to each side of the cockpit.  Probably from people getting off and off the boat at these spots.  It's not like my foot is about to go through the deck, but it is noticeable.
